This call is for projects less than £150k to run over the next six months, under the research topics of (a) Smart Living, (b) Medical Sensors & Point of Care Diagnostics, (c) Healthcare Analytics, IOT Devices, Living Lab, with preference given to COVID-19 related projects.

What projects are applicable?

Do you have an industry need which could be addressed through CHIC research and lead to significant patient/user/society impact?

Do you have a great idea for a university-based connected health research project?

Do you want to build collaboration with industrial, healthcare and academic partners?

How does 75% project funding sound? (75% spent in academic setting, 25% remainder contributable in company in-kind and cash)

The latest CHIC Research Project Call 13 for project proposals is now open for member companies and new members.

This is an open themed call for projects less than £150k to run over the next six-twelve months, under the research topics of:

(a) Smart Living
(b) Medical Sensors & Point of Care Diagnostics
(c) Healthcare Analytics, IOT Devices and Living Labs

How can I apply?

You can download the project proposal document, and you are invited to contact one of the CHIC team to discuss and complete your project description and plan. Small 'pre-project' items of work may be possible to develop a full application.

  • Detailed project proposed presented to the CHIC Programme Committee for full funding approval: Mid November 2021.
